Christmas Suprises
I had a wonderful Christmas. Hope you all did too. I got to spend lots of time relaxing, eating, and socializing. Christmas day we just spent all day at home. And my very first surprise was that I got a cricket (a paper die cut machine) for Christmas! You should have seen me open it. I was so surprised and happy I almost cried. (That's very extraordinary for me.)
My second surprise came at New Years. On New Years day night (New Years day 9p-12a) my brother, Cravens cousins, and I went lazar tagging. Now if you know me very well you probably know that it takes me a while to warm up to new things. I have to do it a few times and think about it and sleep on it and do it again to like it. Well not the case here. Played one game. Liked it. Played another and couldn't wait for the next. I played 5 games that night. Now all I can think about is going back. My next party (jk I never have parties to have a "next" lol) will be lazar tagging. I think I'm addicted. It's so FUN!!!!!

Christmas!
I'm so excited about Christmas coming soon :) :) :) :) It's so amazing just to be out of school and have some down time.
My finals went well and I left campus Wednesday evening the 15th. Now all I have to do for the next couple of weeks is work and go to family gatherings. What a life huh?
On Christmas Eve we always go to my mom's parents. Its going to be fun. I get to see Collin, Blake, and Hunter! SSOOO cute. Can't wait. :)
So I'm really excited about New Years cause, for one, I'll get to be with a bunch of my Grandpa R's family i haven't seen in a while. The second reason is all the pillow grandkids (all the grandkids my age, don't ask why were called that it's a long story) are going lazar tagging from 9-midnight. SSOOO excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Now tonight my family and I will exchange gifts with Nolan :) :) :) Can't wait for him to get his gifts. I just know he's gonna love it :) :) :)
Well I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!!!!
P.S. sorry about the previous two posts. I wrote them and meant to post them months ago and some how I didn't.

Suprise Fellowship
So this past weekend was fun. We all decided to go to my aunt Patty's for Sunday night and an after church snack. It was a blast. She had already planned to have her pastor (Darel and Regen Settler) over after church and then two of my cousins are going to GBS this year so they came over too. So it ended up being the Stroud's, Settler's, Stampers, Russell's, and Josh and Abby Cravens cousins. Totally enjoyed the fellowship and it was great to get away.
Just in case your wondering yes I am very busy now. I'm been working for Arby's still, working for a representative at Principal, taking 15 hours this semester, and dating my wonderful little man. (Which is why this blog appears to be abandoned LOL.) But I'm enjoying every bit of it. :-) Looks like I may be having my senoir recital this year. See how that goes and let you know. Ta ta :-)

School's out!
Ya! It's all over and summer is here. I'm SO excited. I got back home the 1st and I've been workin hard every since.
As most of you know I am a shift manager at Arby's. Thursday was a short shift and I worked as the drive through cashier. There I was at the window collecting, making change, and passing the food out the window. The next order in line was a small order of mozzarella sticks. "Hello, your total is $3.15." As I reached for the cash, I noticed first the car in which this customer was sitting. A old red Camero Really old, like twenty years ago old, like it needed restored old. No joke, this car was so rusty it's a miracle it was still together. The inside was not much better. The well worn seats were falling through and large portions of the metal frame were sticking out. On the passenger seat lies a panama style straw hat (the ones with the wide woven flat brim) and its top is covered in duct tape. The guy handing me a $20 is about middle aged with a crew cut, t-shirt, and loose fitting jeans. My initial reaction was that this guy was just a little goofy. Pretty normal but just a little strange. However that all changed, because when I handed back his change he said, "Mame, may I ask you a question?". Then tapping his forehead with his index finger he asked, "Do I look retarded?" I wanted to laugh and let him know that if he had to ask then it was a dumb question, but I said "no". A few minuets later he came through the drive through again and repeated the same question to one of my coworkers.
At first reaction this story seams funny. But as I thought about it I began to feel very sorry for the guy. He knew he had a problem, but he wanted to be treated with the same respect and dignity that all normal humans receive. He wanted to be loved and trusted. He wanted girls to think he was hot in his "nice" Camero. It reminded me that no matter how dim someone may be mentally, they still deserve to be respected, loved, and treated with dignity.
