Make over

Ha thought it was time for a new look. What do you think? Not sure about the different font colors. Are they a little too wild? Not sure it is all quite right. Leave me a comment and tell me how you like it. I'm open for suggestions. (As long as they are good ones lol.)

Question for the audience

Ok, I have a question for the audience. I will be leading a small group at school next year. This means that I will be responsible for providing a devotional for about 5-9 girls every week. I am looking for a good devotional book, preferably for girls only but doen't have to be, that everyone hasn't read yet. Have any suggestions? Please help me out with this. Anything is better that nothing. Thanks :-)

Looking Ahead

Wow, this summer has gone so fast! I just realized today that school will be starting in less than a month. Aug. 20. It's seems like just the first of this month we were getting out of school. So looking ahead to this coming school year I've begun to make plans. LOL Of course it will all change once the year really starts, but hey, it's good to have goals right? So maybe if I blog all these plans maybe it will make it easier for me to stick to them. Maybe. So anyway here's the game plan. + I will work two days every other week and on the of weeks I'll work three. This will give me one extra day a week to get extra school work done and go on dates :-) + I will get up earlier mon through fri morning so I can have about on hour of jog-walk time. + I will spend more extra in devotions. (Part of this time will come from the getting up earlier) + I will take two fewer classes than I did last semester and will use the extra time to practice more. I will practice a minimum of 10h every week. + I will strive to spend extra time doing independent learning about composers, performers, new techniques, and new music. I will read books and literature containing this information. I will listen to and become more acquainted with solo performers, chamber orchestras and small groups. I will, I will, I will. Just writing this out has helped me feel more motivated now. These are all things that are very important to me and I want to follow through on them. I met my goal of attaining a 4.0 last semester, and I can meet this goal too. I will, I will, I will. Thank you for listening.

This makes me laugh. I like it because it reminds me of Nolan and I sometimes. We text each other one or more times everyday, but we don't really see or talk to each other very often. But ha, we've never been closer. LOL

4thof July Surprise

On the 3rd Nolan and I went to the Symphony on the Prairie. It was awesome! Nolan wanted to surprise me and wouldn't tell me where we were going. Then when we were almost there he ask me to look in the glove box, and this is what I saw. . .

Needless to say I was all smiles and we had a wonderful time.
